| | NEW HOME WARRANTY INFORMATION Yoder Custom Built Homes, Inc. provides the following 2/4/10 year warranty.
WARRANTY
During the 2-YEAR warranty period, Yoder Custom Built Homes warrants that all new homes will be free from:  | Defects in materials or workmanship as defined by IC 32-27-2, except as they apply to defects in appliances, fixtures and equipment that are covered in accordance with the manufacturer's individual warranties. Ensure that you maintain your appliances as required by your manufacturer. | | Defects in the electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems as defined by IC 32-27-2. |
During the 4-YEAR warranty term, Yoder Custom Built Homes warrants that all new homes will be free from:
| Defects caused by faulty workmanship or defective materials in the roof or roof system. |
During the 10-YEAR warranty term, Yoder Custom Built Homes provides:
| Structural coverage and warrants against "Structural Defects" which cause the home to become unsafe, unsanitary, or unlivable and pertaining to foundation systems and footings, beams, girders, lintels, columns, walls and partitions, floor systems, and roof framing systems. |
Homeowners must submit warranty claims in writing utilizing a homeowners service request form found in your homeowners manual or at our offices. This warranty is transferable to new owners or assigns until the end of the warranty term. The new home warranty effective start date is the date that you materially move into and begin occupation of the new home.
Yoder Custom Built Homes' warranty is an implied warranty as defined by, and is compliant with, applicable Indiana law IC 32-27-2 "New Home Construction Warranties." New homeowners are encouraged to read IC 32-27-2 as it now supercedes most written warranties.
